“I am a wife and I have a family of five. I have a bad case of asthma and about 2 months ago I got really sick. I started coughing and thought I had a cold so I treated it like a cold. But than I lost my taste and smell and had bad headaches and than I couldn’t breathe I felt as if someone was standing on my chest I also felt very weak and dizzy I always wanted to sleep I felt as if I was on my death bed. I was wheezing bad but had no fever got rushed to the hospital where they hooked me up to a heart monitor my heart was racing they checked my oxygen it went down to 69% so they did a EKG blood test nose swab chest x-ray and a cat scan to find out what was wrong the doctor came in the and told me I had COVID-19 and pneumonia that was turning into bacterial pneumonia they gave me medicine to calm everything down and bring my heart rate back to normal and sent me home I was in and out of the doctors like every week. And than about a week later I found out that I had strep throat. So again I was put on more medicine to help me. So just about a week ago I went back to the doctors they told me that things where starting to look good that the covid and strep throat was gone that the only thing I still had was bacterial pneumonia. Which I hope and pray is gone soon. I’m getting better little by little but it could take longer for me to fully heal. Ever since I’ve been sick things have been very hard on us. I am a stay at home mom I have an amazing husband who works and 3 beautiful kids We are behind on some of our bills and we are having a very hard time making ends meet and trying to give our kids the Christmas they deserve. We can’t afford to have Christmas this year because my husband stayed out of work for weeks and got tested for the COVID through his job so that he can stay home to take care of me and look after the kids while I was sick in bed but he never got paid for it…. All I want for Christmas is for my family to be happy and come together as one. Please and thank you with love”
